Plume the apprentice shaman

Musical story — Audiobook

Plume, the apprentice shaman is a musical tale for children aged 8 to 12, based on my symphonic poem Denisova.

It plunges the listener into the heart of the Upper Pleistocene, in order to follow the adventures of Plume, a Denisovan child who discovers her shamanic gifts by confronting Bahar, an old cave hyena with a gouged-out eye, an evil spirit and man-eater, who casts a terrible threat and an evil shadow over the clan.

The visual universe of Plume, the apprentice shaman , comes to life thanks to the expressive style of Henri Werner, whose drawings create dreamlike and mysterious atmospheres, enriching the tale with a poetic and narrative dimension that transports the listener to the heart of ancestral imagination.

Driven by the powerful voice of theatre actor Cédric Godgrand, the narration instantly immerses young readers in Plume's shamanic adventures.

Finally, scientifically supervised by prehistorian Marylène Patou-Mathis (CNRS), this audiobook blends poetry and emotion with a precise historical framework, offering young listeners a unique immersion in an ancestral and magical universe.
